| Jeru is top 100 IMO
"The Sun Rises In The East" and "Wrath Of The Math" put him there comfortably
those two are some of the greatest hip-hop efforts to ever be released..add on top of that his lyrical prowess and of course those Preemo beats and that's enough for inclusion in the top 100 of all-time

| Top 100, his 1st 2 albums put him there. Shame he hasn't really been able to put anything good out without Premo's help. | |

| I'm on the fence with Jeru (same as Mos Def). SRITE and WOTM are easily top 50 albums of all time (WOTM being slightly higher, IMO), but after that he's done absolute crap. Next to his latest, he hasn't dropped a 3 star album, and that hurts because it shows that he couldn't do anything without Preemo. Good thing his latest was a good 4 stars to me..

| I've only heard his first two albums, but they are better than another artist who made top 50 and had only two albums so I'll say top 100. | |

| Jeru is top 100 because of his two classic albums and his lyrical skill. | |

No Way is Wrath Of The Math better than EITHER of Biggie's albums. Personally, I prefer Ready To Die and Life After Death over The Sun Rises To The East as well, but I can see why some would prefer Jeru's debut, but his sophomore effort? That's a 4 star album at best. |

I can listen to Life After Death without skipping tracks (even Playa Hater, which is a funny track) and Wrath Of The Math to me is overrated. We can agree to disagree on that one. |

I like WOTM better than his debut. And both are better than Biggie's albums, IMO

I like WOTM better than his debut. And both are better than Biggie's albums, IMO Again, we'll agree to disagree. I felt that Jeru's rhymes were less potent on WOTM then they were on his debut. I like Biggie's albums better personally, but I consider The Sun Rises To The East a classic, but I only give WOTM 4 stars, and that's because of Primo's stellar (as usual) production. |

| Okay people let's not overrate the props for Jeru here...he is a str8 up traditional lyricists but that's it. He really has no flow and his delivery is not that entertaining. He only has one classic album and the man has been in the game for over 16yrs but we fault Snoop for the samething. The Sun Raises In The East I can see being betta than LAD (even though I skip nothing on either)but Ready To Die kills his whole discog..imo. |

I like WOTM better than his debut. And both are better than Biggie's albums, IMO Shon take that coke stick out your nose man, your leaking dawg...lol both of Jeru's albums are great but both are better than biggie's efforts man...lol Biggie lyrically would step on Jeru, take his size 13's and step straight on his face, now the beats that Preemo threw him helped him out tremendously, to have two of the really great hip-hop efforts ever created and I admit on the mic Jeru is no slouch man, but IMO the debuts between these two artists are tied and Life After Death is better than Wrath Of The Math.....and lyrically it's a beatdown in favor of Biggie IMO....Jeru is not in my top 20 emcees of all-time and I haven't seen him in many people's either...Biggie is number 3 for me....no contest man...Michael Jordan vs. Chris Paul man....Jordan wins by 30...lol

Nas liked Mega at first, but Mega started hatin and talkin shit. Basically biting the hand that fed him. Pac turned on Biggie after FALSELY accusing him of setting him up to get shot. |

LOL...I think they're debuts are tied man...both of them are great hip-hop releases Jeru for his beats first and his lyrics second and Biggie's for his lyrics first and his beats second that's a wash but on number two Life After Death is killing Wrath Of The Math man...as good as Wrath Of The Math was it's a largely forgettable album, there was good to very good songs on it but nothing made that album memorable man IMO not alot of heads even remember to mention it half the time...that means something, but Life After Death is on the tip of many lips and I don't think it was just because it was his last album either.. it was a helluva an album man...Hypnotize alone was better than anything on Wrath Of The Math IMO.... Biggie wins this one man...

Biggie wins this one man... Co-Sign. I'd say Sky's The Limit and Notorious Thugs beats anything on WOTM as well. |

Biggie wins this one man... WOTM isnt as good as Sun Rises obviously but i dont think its a forgettable album at all man. There are some great tracks on there: Black Cowboys, Scientifical Madness, Me or the Papes and the all time classic Ya Playin Yoself...

Come on, now. There's no way it's killing WOTM. LAD would need to be a 5 star, skip proof all time classic for that (to me, anyways)
Biggie would eat Jeru lyrically, though. I just like Ru's albums better

| Jeru is top 100 IMO, and could have been top 50 had he stuck with some all-star producers like Premier. His first two are 5-stars IMO, and his latest album (from '07) is a solid 4 stars. | |
