Del is a dope emcee and those that like big-ups for your opinion on him but what is puzzling to me is how has Del stayed relevant longer than Chuck???

honestly who is checking for either one of them right now?? and whose has been in years?? I know that Chuck/PE is still making new shit and I know that Del is still making new shit as well but neither one of them has outstanding "relevant" sales figures anymore...not that Del ever really had those anyway...I mean if we're going on whose more "relevant" then Chuck should win that one because Flav helped him out recently with his stupid ass reality shows....he helped to make the PE brand stronger by doing those shows....so Chuck is easily more "relevant" than Del.....and I'm only bringing up sales here because I know how much you dudes use them as a barometer to "relevancy" that's why those are even being talked about at all.....

Co-Sign 100%. Chuck has never been irrelevant. PE's early material is TIMELESS and Chuck D always has, and always will have more mass appeal than Del. That's what makes him more relevant.

Del is a dope MC without a doubt. In fact he's one of my favs from the West, but he's not even close to being more relevant than the Hard Rhymer from Long Island.

Chuck D elevated rap far more than Del did. Del is a dope MC, but he wasn't a game changer. PE were pioneers of political rap and will forever be known as such.
