| theres tons of good rappers yet to drop an official retail solo lp...heres some
Killa Sin - one of the most underrated ever. I actually think this guy has the potential to make a classic if he had the right production and if he ever gets out of prison and actually decides to make a solo album. Honestly never dropped a bad verse, his delivery and flow is awesome, and his lyrics are tight...hes always reminded me of a mix of G Rap and Raekwon which is a deadly combination...Easily my favorite mc to never drop a solo
then there the obvious choices:
Saigon - its been like 6 years or more since he was supposed to drop...he finally made the album in a day with Statik but to me never dropped his official LP
Crooked I - unfortunately Death Row folded before he ever got to relese somethin...IMO the 2nd best in Slaughterhouse, definitely deserves a solo

| That Saigon LP was as official as it gets.
Have you heard it? It's going to go down as top 5 of the year, no question.
Don't argue. You'll feel stupid later. That album's got the minerals to sustain. In a landscape of hollow garbage...give it up where it belongs.

| That said, I would love to see Black Thought get sick with a roster of handpicked producers and DJs. | |

| Or a solid Black Thought/Premier project.
RZA, 9th Wonder, Black Milk...
All them combos would change everything (Black Thought X 1 producer for an entire album... fucking hiphop perfection...)..

| Celph Titled never dropped an actual solo, right? The Gatalog isn't really a solo album... | |

Cosign And to add to the mix....Boots Riley. I know it's not a stretch from The Coup 1998 and after, but I'd like to hear him under some different producers/sounds.

Yeah, I'm sure you're looking for the more traditional hip hop record.
