| I slept on it. That album cover is wack as hell. Even the lettering is wack. That coupled with the fact that a year prior Brand Nubian dropped the lackluster FOUNDATION album. | |

Are you referring to Everything is Everything, because Foundation was released in 1998. |

| Trotter doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. First off, Foundation was DOPE and secondly, like Wayne said this album dropped in 1995. He thought because of the title that it dropped in 2000.
As for my thoughts on the album. This was a dope effort. 4 stars. |

I knew Puba dropped his second solo LP in 1995 but I couldn't recall the name of it. I knew he shot a video with that dude Kid from Kid N Play. When I saw Puba's 2000 cd in a store around 99' 2000 I assumed that was a new effort and I slept on it for reasons I listed above. It never occured to me that this was his 1995 release until now. I slept on all Puba's albums except Reel 2 Reel which is a classic IMO. Also I thought Everything Was Everything was doper than In God We Trust

Very true. I've always thought so. That said, I got it on tape and have enjoyed it a few times. I'd give it3.75-4 stars...solid release.

| Puba and Sadat spit some prime material on Everything is Everything IMO I can't trash that album because it had some filler and a little too much Jamar. 2000 gets 4/5. EIE at 3.5/5 | |

Yeah I agree with Everything Is Everything's 3.5 star rating. It's not a wack album but it pales in comparison to Brand Nubian's best material. |
