| Your irrational hate for regions other than the East aside, Public Enemy got screwed too.
HOWEVER, I will say that in terms of trying to be objective I doubt there are two groups in hip hop that were more original and influential even in the mainstream media while still being true to what they do than these two. |

I don't hate other regions, I just think that people bitching about Bone's elimination is lame. Even if they would have advanced further than they did, they still wouldn't have won this thing. I do agree with your second statement though. |

Which means they could be 3rd, 4th or 5th?

If you think elite 8 is enough you're a hater. SMH, maybe they could have reached the Final Four with different matchups but that's as far as they would have gone. Gangstarr is among my Top 10 groups of all time, but they're on the back end. I don't see how that's an insult. I believe PE went out in the 1st or 2nd round in this thing, now THAT's bullshit. IMO they're better than Wu, Kast, and Gangstarr. But even if you disagree with that, they should have gotten into at least the Elite 8. |

But even if you disagree with that, they should have gotten into at least the Elite 8. Gangstarr is a top 4 group to me based on discog. Four albums with a 5 star rating - not many groups have that. And I would have PE in the top 8.

I agree with what you said about their discog, it's awesome. |
