| I spun all of the Liks releases a couple of months ago. I never did get the Koch or E1 release "Firewater". I also gave Tash's "Rap Life" a spin at the same time. | |

| I always like Rap Life... you heard the J-Ro solo from last year Highsmith? I think you would love it. |

| I finally listened to this for the first time about 3 weeks ago, and I have to say its a great album. I love how its got a party vibe but all the emcees straight kill it. One of my west coast favorites easily. | |

| Classic, these dudes dropped 3 really dope albums in the 90's. They still do their thing but unfortunately most of the newer "Liks" material seems watered down quite a bit. | |

| Yeah this is a west coast gem. Like Esco said well done hip hop head party music but with creditable emcees on the mic. One of my fav albums.
And Highsmith I cosign SRP. J-Ro's solo album is the truth. I got it off itunes back when it dropped. |

| 5 stars and their best album IMO. One of the most underrated crews in the game as far as I'm concerned. Their 2nd album gets 5 stars from me too. | |

| Who do you like more Dave? Tash or J-Ro? They're always the best together, but Tash has always gotten my vote... | |

I think that Tash destroys the mic every time he touches it. I talk about rapid-fire spittin', metaphors, and dope flow. J-Ro is crazy dope too, I've always liked his sports references, but Tash is a lil' bit superior.

That flow is vicious along with the energy level. The solo album he dropped a year or so back (Control Freak) showed a lot of promise on the lyrical end, but the beats were just average and in some cases below average. A couple dope Liks collabs on there, but overall the album was a little disappointing. J-Ro's solo (released the same year) was much better on the production end, but lyrically just not all there IMO. My conclusion? They are way better together....and they need E Swift on those beats.

| Last Call is probably my favorite joint on here, either that or Make Room. I'd give this the 5 star nod, these guys were cocky but had the skill to back it up, unlike pretty much every new artist nowadays. | |
