I'm Bad(to me this song epitomizes LL more than any other song in his discography. It's got his signature swagger. It's got his agressive, arrogant, battle infused lyricism. It's simply perfect IMO.)

I'm sure more will post at some point. and it's all good about the 6 songs, there's easily a few more I could have listed.
LL is only about a Top 30-40 rapper for me, but he's got lots of classic songs.

A decade ago he was in my Top 10-15, but the duds over the last several years dropped him down on my list. I really don't bump any of his albums post-Mr. Smith. Exit 13 is a decent album (or at least better than critics make it out to be) but the replay value is limited.

hmmm Cool J has a top 100 for me but here are the first 5 that came to mind for me right now
in no particular order:
Backseat Rock The Bells You'll Rock Jack The Ripper The Breakthrough I Need A Beat (original version)
I know that's 6 but fuck it mane!
Cool J is number 5 in my top 5 of all-time....even his duds can't bring him down from that pedestal IMO....the man has released more than enough dopeness throughout his long career to be ranked right there IMO.....I mean Kane is top 10 as well IMO...but has released far less dopeness overall than Cool J but he deserves his ranking there as well....
CO-SIGNAGE with Kid Joe on the extreme dopeness of the Doo Wop.....that song is just crazy from him along with at least 99 other joints......

Why not?? you picked "Hush"...lol
I think the production and concept on Backseat is way better than what he did on "Hush", that one is not even in my top 60 of all-time from him, I think it's one of his "cute" songs...lol..but Backseat has a ridiculous bassline on it and the lyrics (although they are obviously just about him crushing some ass in the Backseat of his Jeep) are still legit....he paints the picture very vividly IMO...lol

I Need Love is one of the best songs on Bigger & Deffer IMO. I feel it's a Top 10 song by LL overall.
I almost listed Eat Em Up L Chill, but I didn't want MSKYO to have 4 out of my 5 spots.

In terms of vocals, Ralph is EASILY the best in NE. It's not even close.
Bobby Brown may have had more classic solo songs, and Mike is an awesome producer, but Ralph had the best voice by far. Johnny Gill was dope too, but after his first album he fell off.
While I'm a NE stan, LL was on par with them in his prime and Candy is nowhere near a Top 5 LL song.

Smh Johnny had a couple albums out before he hit it big. So the first album you are referring to was actually his 3rd album.
