Good pick but he is not the best battle rapper ever. He gets to much credit for only battling Shan and his crew. Other than that who has he really went in hard on? Nelly?

Nobody wanted to fuck with him on the mic, he struck fear into people and even today nobody really wants to test him. That's what makes him the illest.

I agree but even with a revised list, I would still have to include 2 or 3 tracks from Criminal Minded every time.

I'm not really a fan of his older music. I liked it when it came out, but I don't think it has adged well. Life is probably my favorite KRS album these days...been for awhile.

Parker you don't think Criminal Minded has aged well? What don't you like about older KRS material?

I would say production mostly. I've never really been a fan of his flow, and I like it less on those albums. He always had lyrics, I just don't like his vocals sometimes.

His older albums have aged VERY well and are the reason why he's widely regarded as one of the GOAT's. When people think of KRS-One tracks, people are always gonna mention his stuff from 1986-1997 first.

Think Of All The Things Featuring K'Naan (the only song I can bump regularly from KRS One, and it's mainly because of K'Naan)

That's probably it, none of his other songs are my steez. They are to me.
