Popeye's chicken is the truth. I never heard of a Popeyes till I got to the midwest. Here in Indiana a slew of Popeyes were shut down due to the owner of about 10 stores not paying taxes. theres only like 2 open at the time. But by far they are better than crusty ol' KFC.

The biscuits are the best thing about Popeyes, and their fries are bomb too. Chicken's ok, I usually grab the popcorn shrimp though.

Most of the Mrs. Winners around here got bought out by Church's, and Popeyes is easily better than Mrs. Winners.
