| Kanye>>>>>>>>>>>>Most of the Wu-castoffs, a lot of them are boring for real.
Mr. West may not be the best lyricist but he's made some of the best post-2000 hip hop easily.

Same here. But I think I'd rather listen to Kanye over a lot of the stuff Slang posts....no offense. I do like "We Don't Care" quite a bit. All of The College Drop Out is decent I guess. Never really did like any of his other stuff nearly as much.

Thats fact Parker. Only a stuborn stupid ass fucking ass mule (to whom that may concern) would think other wise. Ye is waay ahead of the lame pack mainstream wise. He constantly redefines his sound and music and he raps with true passion and insight. Respect due to the man. Whether you like his music or not. Folks need to step out of their little subjective box and look at the bigger fucking picture. Bizzo.

That's twice in a row where you've taken a simple disagreement with me and went straight to name calling.

On the real Ye should be praised just out of respect for being one of the very few that even slighty keeps mainstream rap music from being a joke. He keeps it alive. Slug does have a boring flow. Eyedea did not. Mainstream rap already is a joke - it certainly doesn't need Kanye's help, even though he continually adds to the wackness. You will never convince me this guy isn't a joke. I barely consider his music hip-hop. Just pop music as far as I'm concerned. Mainstream is dead - accept it.

| Eyedea always sounded like when stand-up comedians make fun of white people voices. I could never get into his stuff because of it. You know how Howard Stern talks about seeing someone do something that makes you feel embarrassed for them? I think he calls the feeling 'douche chills'. I get douche chills when I hear Eyedea.
I think Kevin's just trying to say that he doesn't like Eyedea because he sounds painfuly white on the mic. You'll have to excuse his miswording. He refuses to expand his vocabulary, so sometimes he can only come close to expressing the point he wants to make.

i would rather bump all those over MBDTF Not for nothin dude, but I heard you say fairly recently that you've never heard MBDTF in it's entirety. I'm not gonna front and say that I've heard all the ones you just mentioned, but of the ones listed that I have heard, the only ones I like better are Sir Lucious and How I Got Over. Those two and Distant Relatives are my top 3, and then MBDTF.

Late orchestration might be my favorite album from him, musically it sounds so much better than his studio albums. Thanks for the orchestra.

I've never heard MBDTF, and never will. I have no interest in Kanye, because he's NOT doper than a lot of the cats that get bigged up around here. See how opinions work? You keep trying to state yours as fact, when it's not. Maybe there are millions of people that agree with your opinion, but none of them post here, so that's irrelevant. And here's some albums that dropped last year that I know for a fact I would like better than MBDTF even if I had heard it. 1212 Nineteen Ninety Now Between Heaven & Hell Death Is Silent 1982 That's 5 right there, but carrying on... Kill Devil Hills Body Of God World Supremacy The Final Conflict Even Kraftwerk, and that's not Snowgoons' best effort, either.

You guys will have to excuse Parker. This is the only place he can discuss hip hop and practice his advanced vocab because he is able to type his words while googling them and looking in dictionarys. But in a face to face situation his stuttering and lameness hinders him from his verbal onslaught. I haven't heard much Eyedea I was just taking a cheat shot at Pounds.

None of them post here??? Well Kev for one agrees with my opinion of Kanye, as does Terry, Powell, Highsmith, and a number of others so you're wrong there.... Secondly, you're the definition of closed minded. Say what you will about me, but unlike you at least I give people an honest listen before passing judgement on them.

How many albums does Kanye have out? I thought MBDTF was his most recent, not his debut. So, because I know that I don't like him, and don't want to waste my time on his newest album makes me closed-minded? So be it.
