| Beanie is neither to me. I still spin his debut on a regular basis but not much else. Beanie is dope though | |

| A big phat NEITHER for an emcee with a very uneven career
he's dope at times and kinda corny at others IMO
he scores low in alot of areas....just like his boy Memphis Bleek
he's a neither for me | |

| Bleek and Beans have no business in the same sentence. |

| Maybe if dude wrote his rhymes down for his second and third albums and had more than 3 albums to show for a decade in the game he'd get more consideration for being in the top 100. As it stands, hell no. |

| Pharoahe Monch made it with 2 solo albums and 3 OK albums in 18 years (most of which are better than Beanie's best album), a hell of a lot more skill than Beanie Sigel, and much more artistic significance, because he was innovative, with loads more originality and creativity.
I like Beanie Sigel, but he didn't end up doing much with his career. | |

Pharoah is more lyrical than Beans when it comes to mic battle/shock punchlines and more creative I will give you that. But Beans smashes Pharoahe when it comes to gritty/hardcore lyrics and touching people on a common level. See there is not only one way to judge lyricism, Phar would get Beans pretty bad in his world but Phar would get killed in Beans. |

| Over his career, I think Pharoahe Monch has shown a high level of skill at almost all facets of lyricism, much higher than Beanie Sigel. Touching people at a common level? You might have that point. | |

I don't agree with that to me Pharoah is good in his lane but not that diverse in other subjects. Like when he makes songs about females or party/chillin shit it is not all that. Beans is the type of lyricists I lean toward more so it's all good. |

| Yeah but I thought on his fourth album he wrote his lyrics down while he was incarcerated, and I'd HEARD the lyrics were better but after The Reason and The B.Coming I will never check for dude again. He hasn't spit like he did on the Truth or the Dynasty album since those records and probably never will again IMO. |

| Speaking of Beans, has anyone heard this dude Bully from D-Block who sounds exactly like Beanie (and stole his name for Christ's sake!)? Jesus does that guy suck balls | |

His guest spots are solid too. |
