| This will be a fun one. A bunch of albums that could take the top spot. D.O.C. is my pre-tourney choice. | |

| The Devil Made Me Do It
Not that I think it will win, but it's just as deserving as some of the albums listed.

Yes, and after some research, I'm not 100% sure of the release. Amazon says 1991 (though I'm pretty sure it was before that), some other site says 1990, and discogs.com (which is the one I usually rely on) says '89. So, I guess that decision would be up to K.Rob, since it's his tournament. Edit: Just looked at my CD, and it says 89/90. So I guess either of those years fits.

| If i'm remembering correctly, the vinyl was released in 89, and then it was released on cd in 90. | |

| Hmmmm.........
I always thought this one came out in 1990. But i'm seeing both. Let me check his website. If its 89 you know this one is a must add.
Edit: On Paris site it says originally released 1990. And on Wiki it says 1989 when you look at all his discog. But when you click on Devil Made Me Do It it says 1990.
Since the majority says 1990 we'll count it for then.

| As long as it gets included in one year or the other, that's all that really matters. But, like I said, the back of the CD case says 1989/90. Maybe they recorded and printed it in 89, but officially released it in 1990. Anyways, I just knew it was around then, and didn't see it on the list. | |

| While my favorite album of 89 isn't gonna win this tournament because of the people in this forum, it should be interesting nonetheless. I don't see any one album winning in a landslide. | |

| Wow, I can't believe I missed the majority of these "best album" threads, especially 88 and before. I haven't been on "hiatus" or anything, but I'll try to return to my "regular attendance" on this forum, lol. | |

I hope Nice & Smooth isn't one of them LOL Nah, although if "Ain't A Damn Thing Changed" had come out in 89 it'd be a contender, at least in my mind. The 6 I have are (not necessarily in order) 3 Feet High & Rising No One Can Do It Better It's A Big Daddy Thing Grip It On That Other Level Road To The Riches Ghetto Music: The Blueprint Of Hip Hop
