people are limiting their picks to songs that are credited to the artist in question for the most part you know what i mean. For example when Scarface was nominated no one listed GB songs and when GB nominated no one listed Face songs. METHOD Man the song i think is an exception since its a method man solo track.

what i would have done was list my top 5 meth songs, then separately my top 5 Meth moments on Wu songs

It just seems rather silly to me. If we're being loose and free with the rules I don't see a big difference.

Especially for a song like The What - Biggie and Meth share time almost equally on that one.

If it was billed as Method Man ft. Biggie nothing would really change.

i know there really isnt rules thats just what people seem to be doing. I personally think it helps with diversity...for example i would list The What as a top 5 BIG song so why list it twice when i can list other Meth songs i like arguably more. For Scarface i could have easily listed some GB songs but why do so when i can list them when the GBs get nominated

Well I think there is a little difference between group work and feature work.

I would say Banned from TV is one of my favorite Nore tracks, but not for Nore's verse, but for the beats and other verses.

I mean if The What isn't anyone's favorite Method Man song then so be it, but I listen to that song for Meth's verse more so than Biggie.

Why don't you post a list instead of complaining about everyone else's SRP.

Pedro does have a point. What I try to do is stick to the solo CDs and groups when they are mentioned, as much as possible. The What should be on most lists but most people included that on their Biggie list. As far as just picking 5 songs, for me that is virtually impossible. What I will try to do is pick a Top 5 A list and create a B list for any other songs that I feel are worth mentioning. You could still post a Top 5 though Pedro.

I would have had no problem with anybody picking The What, but it shouldn't come as a shock as to why nobody picked it. Hell, I'm surprised nobody picked Da Rockwilder except me, and that's more of a Meth song than The What is.
