| I just wanted to share toughts on this masterpiece, I think that it's one of the most slept-on albums from last year. The group has incredible chemistry, I like very much Journalist 103's rapping style and the topics that he talks about, and Apollo Brown's beats are superior. Dude's a monster. Can it be a classic to you? I mean, many years from now, could it reach classic status? | |

| It sounds good, polished, technically well-done. Overall, though, there is something generic about it, to me. | |

| I really like this album also. I was surprised how well put together it is and it just flows from trk to trk. Glad I did check it out. It one of my fav from last year.
Parker I can kinda see why you say there's something generic about it. The lead rapper is dope but nothing about his style and delivery really just stands out. He has a heard this many times before rap style about him. So maybe thats why. | |

| I don't think i'll use the word classic, but it's very close. I've got it at 4.5. Great album. I bought "The Reset" too but "Gas Mask" is the better album in my opinion. | |

| its a dope album, the drums are harder, particularly the snare is real crisp, than many underground producers in the same vein (*cough 9th Wonder cough*) Apollo Brown brings a dope consistent sound throughout that i think gives it a nice feel with the use of a lot sampled horns along with an overall dusty feel, it works well. Journalist is pretty dope too. I have this around 4-4.25, great to see dope new shit coming out of Detroit | |
