I lean more toward 3.75 or so because I think they should have knocked off a few trks due to their very limited subject matter.

Yeah I might end up giving it that as time goes by, but I still spin it on occasion. It's definitely not on the level of the first Blackout which is 4.5 IMO, but there are a number of bangers on it like 4 Minutes To Lockdown, Father's Day, and City Lights.

Just coulda shoulda been so much better. Especially comin off Gone Wild and 4:21.

It doesn't seem like they really went headhunting for the production this time. Not compared to Blackout 1.

I'm at 4 with this one. Solid production. Meth sounds like he still puts effort into it. This pains me to say, but Redman doesn't sound inspired on some tracks. There's an energy about Redman that seems to be missing. The topic range was generic on some cuts too. I liked it, but I didn't love it...and loving it is usually a given when dealing with these two.

4 star album for me. Nowhere near better than or on the level of the first Blackout, but still an excellent album.
