I may listen to it. I never gave Curren$y a fair chance. With Alchemist production, I'm sure that will keep me entertained enough.

It's a solid mixtape. Just chill production and weed raps. If you smoke then I would check it out.

I usually don't, but Curren$y is so good at it that it doesn't get old. Wiz on the other hand is an example of shitty weed raps....

I'd say Curren$y is much more than "weed raps". He's a pretty good lyricists Link. In the vein of Devin The Dude and Young Bleed.

Its not that black & white. To me that is not is only lyrical content. Its a big part of his act no doubt but if he only rapped about weed I wouldn't fuck with him.

He raps about weed in ALL of his songs. He just does it in a creative way which makes him great.

Not great but good, let's not get crazy. And thats a good point to what i'm trying to say also. Basically he talks about weed a lot but its not just in yo face its more creative. I did not want Link to not check him because he thinks he's just rapping about blowing all the time. He is not a good subject matter rapper at all but he is a dope rapper period.

Link, if you wanna get into Curren$y then check both of the Pilot Talks. Those were in my top 10 last year. Ski's production fits so perfect with Curren$y

Hey man you need to get this one asap. Him and Alchemist have a dope chemistry or maybe he is just compatible with anyone. But either way I really enjoyed it. These mixtapes are sounding better than some of these official albums. Only knock I can say is its too short because its over before you know it. It some decent-dope features from Prodigy, Fiend, & Smoke Dza.

I still haven't peeped this but I am sure it will be another banger for me. I agree with Kev that Curren$y is a tad more than a weed rapper. He is really more of a "im flyer than you AND Im high all the time" rapper, lol. He is not an incredible lyricist but his flow kills. He sounds good on everything pretty much and I have a feeling that he will sound dope on Alchemist beats, too. To me, Curren$y makes music that you can always bump. It has a good range of vibes from semi-chill to semi-hype but never too extreme either way. I don't think Linker would really dig it since he doesn't burn but he could def appreciate the beats. Ski Beatz and Monsta Beatz fit him best from what I have heard so far.

Good post Wand and for the record I don't burn and I enjoy Curren$y. I can't resist good ridin/chill music done well.

This is pretty dope, I dug it. Right price too. We need a fiend album... but not on this cool out shit

Yeah, I just figured it would be more enjoyable if you are actually into the weed culture, but that's cool. Plus Linker posted some shit on FB about being proud to not smoke on 420 so it seemed like he was really against it, lol.

And now that I have gotten to spin this a few times, this shit is pretty dope. It's def better than Return to the Winner's Circle, IMO. Spitta kills it as usual and I like all the features. Fiend sounds like he's doing a Rock from HS impression, though, lol. All the beats were dope as well, they def connected on this project. Early rating of 4.0.

I'm late to the party, but I agree with the consensus. This is really nice. It's definitely the best Curren$y project that i've heard.

Liked this as much as I liked both Pilot Talk's. I will check out Weekend At Burnie's soon.
