Grade These Albums Vol. 1

Subject: Grade These Albums Vol. 1 Sat 25 Jun 2011, 9:03 pm

Okay here's the plan. I will post random albums here and there and we can grade it based on the below:

Lyrics- I know lyricism can be defined in different ways. So base your grade on your own lyrical criteria.

Subject Matter- What are they talking about? Is it varied?

Production- beats, hooks, interludes, etc etc.

Entertainment- Does it keep your attention? Is it humorous? Griping? etc etc

Originality- rap style, album concept, overall presentation, etc etc.

We will use the basic school grading system. A+ to F-.

Low End Theory is on the honor roll for you huh Half...lol. Those are some pretty fair grades.

Glad to see you feeling that GB album like that. I gave it a C in production because I feel the lack of creative hooks and some of the beats are just average to me but still jam. Mind Playing Tricks is the best beat on the album. I'm not a fan of WCBS because of the beats its mostly because of the rhymes and subjects.

Yeah man LET is in my top ten favorite albums.

Originality equals the era it dropped in. Also the overall content of the album and the rapper(s).
