People Under The Stairs for me.

I went with Terrorists because that is the comeback album of the year for me. I did not expect Dope E to come that hard on the beats and concepts. A close 2nd and 3rd would have been Absolute Value and Acid Reflex.

Hmm... I can't pick one between Tronic, eMC, and Terrorists.

Where's the love for Grip Grand "Brokelore"?

Luda and Terrorists... all else sucks...

Out of this list I'll go with Rising Down

Rising Down. The Roots with a less organic sound, but probably at their hardest hitting, Black Thought spitting his best, good verses from guests.

Rising Down. Excellent, and probably in the top 3 of all Roots albums for me.

I have Rising Down at 4.5 stars. If it's so bad then why is it in the lead?

i havent heard all of them but Luda, Tronic were dope, Pro Tools was pretty good, and what ive heard off The Show was good

My favorite release last year was Tales From The Sick by Prozak but its not here...so I'll go with Acid Reflex...Paris never fails.

I still gotta go with Almighty "Original Sin". Killah Priest was part of 2 collective bangers last year with this one and "Beautiful Minds" with Comanche.

I went with Almighty's Oringinal S.I.N. barely over Absolute Value.

I'm going with Luda from this list, but The Formula-9th and Buckshot wins as my favorite album overall from last year

It's nearly a split between People Under The Stairs & Akrobatik for me. Both have aged very well so far and get a lot of spins. As for the vote...gotta go with that Absolute Value.
