I agree, I have Dead Serious at 5 stars, but Straight Up Sewaside is at least 4.5. Lots of bangers.

Dead Serious has gotten way better to he over time. I still feel its they're 2nd best album. Hold It Down is number one in my book. That album seemed more focused and made more sense than any of their albums.

Hold It Down ain't fuckin with Dead Serious at all. I'd say Straight Up Sewaside is on par with Hold It Down, but Dead Serious is easily their best.

All 3 are 5 stars

I'll make sure to listen to Hold It Down before we get to that year in hip hop.

Yeah, but Hold It Down just seems more serious to me. I like the fact that the first two albums are more about having fun and spittin' crazy rhymes. All 3 are great but Hold It Down comes in 3rd for me.
