| Going with Super Tight, just has more replay value for me. Starting to like it more than Ridin' Dirty actually. | |

| How can one album be objectively better than another? I'm seriously asking this question and I would like some answers. | |

I'm just going on consensus opinions. Most say Super Tight has no skip tracks (personally I disagree) hence it's considered a 5 star album, whereas most feel that Tical is in the 4-4.5 star range. I rate both these albums at 4.5 stars, but I give Tical the edge because I spin it more. I'm good either way though.

That removes objectivity from the equation right there. Here's the beginning of wiki's article on objectivity: "Objectivity is both a central and elusive philosophical category. While there is no universally accepted articulation of objectivity, a proposition is generally considered to be objectively true when its truth conditions are met and are "mind-independent"—that is, not met by the judgment of a conscious entity or subject." With that out of the way... where do you get your data? When you say "most" what do you mean?

And, Half, do you actually expect KJ to have any respect for the meanings of the words he uses? I also like the way he answered your completely legitimate question... with name-calling.

Well, one can hope. I don't think KJ is a dumb guy. As for the name-calling, it didn't bother me, or surprise me for that matter. I think people that take a similar position would also end up shoving the topic under the rug or changing the subject out of insecurity. This isn't the only place I've seen that stance on objectivity, online or off, and I have yet to see a serious discussion about it. I'd really like to, maybe my understanding of objectivity is flawed. But I guess for now I'll stick to "over-analyzing this shit" in my head.
