This album is quite nice, I have it in the 4 star area right now. The album starts off with a lot of energy and has some dark undertones that I really liked. L.A. Riot is a great title because that's what the album focuses on for the most part. About halfway the album changes the vibe a bit though, and there are more laid back and cocky tracks. I kinda wish he kept the intensity up the whole way through but the tracks in the second half certainly aren't bad. Take a listen:

I just spun this on Spotify and concur with Halfy's assessment. Very good album, but I would have preferred if the riot theme would have held up for the entire album and no need for those bonus tracks. Solid. I hear a little david banner in his voice at times, but he switches his style up.

I'm spinning this one now. Sounds good so far. Kinda disappointed you guys say he gets away for the LA Riot concpet later in the album.

Nice album. Just another confirmation of the quality of 2011. I got a feeling 2012 is going to be let down year. We rarely get back to back good yrs post 2000.

I have hopes for underground hip hop in 2012. With that said I don't have much to look forward to besides the Kool G Rap and Necro, Big Boi, Big KRIT, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, and Kno & Tonedeff
