Totally agree with that sentiment, and I'm not much of a Master P fan, but I do like this album. I like the Nas just a smidge more. Since my vote won't matter, I'll just be the villain and vote for P.

anyway Nas wins this one EASILY....by 50 stratospheres...lol and this is P's GOAT effort in my book but as far as hip-hop artists between Nas and P it's not even close.....now as far as hip-hop businessmen/moguls go then I'm giving that category to P because his business acumen changed the game forever but as far as a quality creator of hip-hop music....Nas is killing that fool....here and throughout each's respective career....

I don't feel there is a big gap in quality between these albums. Only thing It Was Written has the big spread in is lyricism. But overall vs overall that Ice Cream Man is hanging with IWW closer than some are putting on.

not to me.....it can't hang in terms of lyricism by 3 universes....and the production has a pretty large gap as well.....a tad smaller than the gap in lyrics but just as wide as the grand canyon IMO!

Co-signage.....No Limit has had a few albums I liked (Mia X, C-Murder, Tru, this one by P) but my respect for that brand has always been because of their hustle....P's business acumen.....the way they paved the way that hip-hop record labels do business (them and Russell Simmons with Def Jam).....


No Limit's ability to create consistently dope hip-hop music has always been limited IN MY OPINION.....they have been average to below average overall in that ability IN MY OPINION.....but that doesn't diminish their overall standing in the history of the game because of their business acumen.....they will always have a respectable standing in the game.....

I never heard Cloud 9 but I doubt I'd like it as much as IWW, and I used to own that Chino album and it was about 3.5 stars at best IMO. I like IWW infinitely more.

Show me where I've said Haystak is one of the best to do it. It always comes back to Haystak because you think that's some kind of secret weapon against me. He has albums I don't like. I never said he was for everybody, and I've really never fucking said he was a GOAT or even close. Nas is one of my favorites he's not my favorite......Haystak on the other hand is your favorite...stop lying mayne...lol...I never get bent out of shape if someone doesn't like him (Nas)...I honestly don't care because that says something about their taste in hip-hop music not mine....I'm all good either way.....

For me its close but overall Nas has it. I can still bump both but I Gave You Power is one of my favorite tracks.

Nas easily and Ice Cream Man got plenty of spins back in the day.
