| Wayne, seriously? This makes me think you own all those NL cd's just to SAY you're not just an east coast head.
Ice Cream Man, and I wouldn't really care if Nas won because it's close to me, but in this forum nobody has a chance against Nas. Nastradamus would probably beat There's One In Every Family on this fucking forum. |

Totally agree with that sentiment, and I'm not much of a Master P fan, but I do like this album. I like the Nas just a smidge more. Since my vote won't matter, I'll just be the villain and vote for P.

Haha, neither one of these are better than Cloud 9 or Here To Save You All, in my opinion. And neither one has a chance of winning it all, in mine eyes.

True. Also, I could never understand how an album with 2 cover songs, and 54 remixes could be considered a classic, or anywhere close to classic status. And if, for some reason, I ever have referred to The Score as a classic...I'll admit, I was wrong.

yo man you are by far the most vaginal dude on this forum.....you are next level PUSSY! lol anyway Nas wins this one EASILY....by 50 stratospheres...lol and this is P's GOAT effort in my book but as far as hip-hop artists between Nas and P it's not even close.....now as far as hip-hop businessmen/moguls go then I'm giving that category to P because his business acumen changed the game forever but as far as a quality creator of hip-hop music....Nas is killing that fool....here and throughout each's respective career....

| I don't feel there is a big gap in quality between these albums. Only thing It Was Written has the big spread in is lyricism. But overall vs overall that Ice Cream Man is hanging with IWW closer than some are putting on. | |

not to me.....it can't hang in terms of lyricism by 3 universes....and the production has a pretty large gap as well.....a tad smaller than the gap in lyrics but just as wide as the grand canyon IMO!

ummm newsflash jeffrey just because someone might not like something that you deem as being full of dopeness does not mean that they are close minded....it just means that there is a difference of opinion towards that certain item/subject/music...etc..etc... I think your a phat pussy because you are always the most sensitive on here towards things like that....you are numero uno when it comes to getting upset and crying when you just can't fathom that someone might not think that Haystak (for example) is one of the dopest to ever do it......and in my opinion that is PUSSY....lol....got it?? I'm glad we're on the same page now....

Co-signage.....No Limit has had a few albums I liked (Mia X, C-Murder, Tru, this one by P) but my respect for that brand has always been because of their hustle....P's business acumen.....the way they paved the way that hip-hop record labels do business (them and Russell Simmons with Def Jam)..... No Limit's ability to create consistently dope hip-hop music has always been limited IN MY OPINION.....they have been average to below average overall in that ability IN MY OPINION.....but that doesn't diminish their overall standing in the history of the game because of their business acumen.....they will always have a respectable standing in the game.....

I never heard Cloud 9 but I doubt I'd like it as much as IWW, and I used to own that Chino album and it was about 3.5 stars at best IMO. I like IWW infinitely more. IWW likely won't win the tourney but neither will Cloud 9 or Here To Save You All so your point is completely moot.

| My point was...neither IWW or Ice Cream Man will win the tournament, so it makes no difference to me which one advances. Hence my vote for Ice Cream Man. But, I do agree, with all the Nas stans around here, my point was moot. | |

I'm glad we're on the same page now.... Powell, for everything you say that makes sense, you say 5 things that don't. Show me where I've said Haystak is one of the best to do it. It always comes back to Haystak because you think that's some kind of secret weapon against me. He has albums I don't like. I never said he was for everybody, and I've really never fucking said he was a GOAT or even close. I'm not cry at all, buddy, it's more like Grandpa Freeman and Grandma's Boy get all touchy feely when somebody says Nas isn't the greatest thing since Jesus or that the East Coast doesn't own hip hop. |
