I like the Tupac, but you can't honestly shit on Muddy Waters like that. You like what you like, but I don't think there's an album out there that MW can't at least compete with.

I like Muddy Waters but its not all that imo. The 2nd half of the album is a tad suspect. All Eyez has too much dope shit going on.

The bolded part is my EXACT opinion of All Eyez On Me. Disc 1 is 5 stars, Disc 2 is 3.5 stars. Overall it's about a 4.25 star album whereas Muddy Waters is a classic IMO.

Pac's subject matter was deeper then most.....he talked about heavier subject matter then Kool G Rap....Big Daddy Kane, Jay-Z, Biggie, Cool J, Rakim..etc and every last one of those guys IN MY OPINION would WHUP Lesane's ass LYRICALLY.....just beat it to a fuckin' pulp....a bloody mess..roadkill....lol


but Pac still enters my top 20 emcees of all-time because the man can't be denied, in terms of impact, influence on the game, emotion, top notch albums, flow, voice, lyrics, charisma...etc


but this album (AEOM) was too long.....he was too angry on it....and the production wasn't that great....Redman's effort is the better effort....now Makaveli would be a different story for me because there Pac stepped it up lyrically and production wise IN MY OPINION......

2 classic albums that must be in everyones collection, I love Muddy Waters but AEOM gets my vote
