If it was just the first disc i'd go with LAD... as it is Face takes it.

Damn! Both rank about equal to me but Untouch is the better overall album.

Agreed, The Untouchable is no better than the 4th best Face album, maybe 5th.

Untouchable is my 2nd fav Face album and you may be surprised to find out its number one to some people. There is not one weak song on that Untouchable and plenty of classic songs.

Biggie....but I definitely dig this Face album

I can see why it'd rank highly to Face stans. It is a dope album but Face Is Back, Diary, and Fix are superior IMO. It's about on the same level as Last Of A Dying Breed to me. Some excellent standouts, but also some skip material.

Untouchable is an excellent album, and I also cosign that it's not his best solo album. It has some memorable material on it, but it's not better than The Diary, The Fix, Mr. Scarface Is Back, and it does give The Last of a Dying Breed a run for its money.

my top 3 are Mr Scarface is Back, The Diary, The Untouchable...with The Fix close sometimes creeping into the top 3. His discog is hard for me to pin a clear cut favorite for some reason though, but thats a good problem to have

Who decided it had to be Face's best to be better than LAD? There's A LOT of garbage on that double album.

My sentiments exactly. My number one face album is The Fix personally, but this is not close behind. The Biggie has some amazing songs... but two discs..not all of it was necessary.

Life After Death is a far better album than The Untouchable. People saying that they're "garbage" on LAD should take their bias shades off and notice the multiple skip tracks on Untouchable.

If LAD is eliminated this tournament is worthless. LAD may not be on the level of Ready To Die, but it's light years better than this Face album which only has about three or four classic tracks on it. Disc 1 of LAD alone slaughters UT.

Personally I have Fix at number one, but those are definitely his top 3, and I still think Untouchable and Last Of A Dying Breed are interchangable for the 4th spot personally.

Untouchable easily. No skip tracks. Go back and listen to that shit. And it's my favorite Face album too, even among all the other greats he has.

I own the Untouchable and I count at least 4 skip tracks. The only skip track on Life After Death is Playa Hata, and even that one I can stand to listen to sometimes.

The entire second disc is laughable. I guess I just didn't drink the Kool-Aid, because there is just nothing there worth hearing to me.

I love Biggie and I love this album, but if Biggie hadn't died we wouldn't even have people claiming this was classic.

I think disc 2 tracks 8 to 12 are the best part of the album IMO, but there is a lot of filler on here. And Playa Hater is too long and not funny after a few spins, should have been an interlude at best.

Another..again another very dope sample and Biggie and Kim destroyed it lyrically IMO!
