| This may surprise some of you but as of right now the only albums from The Roots I own are Do You Want More, Illadelphhalflife, and undun. I got a lil project, if you will, going on where I'm adding the rest of their albums to my collection. I'm going to cop Things Fall Apart VERY soon. Which album should be the next in line? | |

Unless you count Organix then I'd say the same.

| Yeah. How I Got Over is more of a 4.5 star album too....I mean I definitely gave it a 4.5 when it dropped. I haven't bumped it in a while. I'll probably be listening to a lot of Roots soon anyway since the new album dropped and it's so dope....always makes me dig into their older work. This is just a group you can't go wrong with. | |

| Just bumped Phrenology today, and needless to say, it's NOT wack, but it was on another level, so much so that my rating for this one is probably a 3 (or 3.5) and I don't like giving that low of a rating to a Roots album.
Next up: The Tipping Point

Next up: The Tipping Point Wow, really? Phrenology isn't among my favorite Roots albums either, but it's far better than 3 stars IMO.

| Shiiit... Phrenology is not that bad at all. I could've done without all that pretentious feedback and cluttered pseudo-jazz baloney, though. | |

I always appreciate and take everyone's recommendations seriously. In this case, it was impromptu decision to get the rest of their albums in order, or at least try, lol.

| Just bumped The Tipping Point today, and it's very excellent indeed. I was CLOSE to giving it the "5 star treatment", but overall, I'll comfortably give it 4.5 stars. | |

| Just finished bumping "How I Got Over", and this is another 4.5 star album here. Now, the latter half of the album (specifically starting with the track "The Fire") isn't on the level, if you will, of songs 1-10, but that doesn't affect this album at all. Another excellent album.
Next up: Game Theory more than likely.

| Also get that movie Brooklyn Babylon which stars Black Thought to really have a definitive collection. Why would they have a Philly rapper in a movie about Brooklyn, was Jeru the Damaja not available? Its like when they had Schoolly D do the soundtrack for King Of NewYork | |

| lol @ Trotter
Don't forget the two EPs and the double disc live album either, Wayne. They're all dope. I can upload them if need be. The EPs are a pain in the ass to get a hold of and may not be worth the loot that folks want for them.
The live album comes in single disc format as well, but with less material (obviously)...

The Fire and Right On are my favorites as well. The second half of the album is just as good as the first, IMO
