Bun B

The fan in me wants to say yes, but Bun's not a top 100 solo act.

Top 50 as a group and as soloists... this man kills 100s of verses a year with classic verses...

Top 50 easily just based on UGK IMO.

I voted top 100 based on rhyme skills, guest appearances, and influence as a solo rapper. His two albums keep him out the top 50 though.

UGK as a group is top 100 easily, but Bun B by himself is not

Yeah, I'm confused about what records I should be looking to vote for. I have not even heard a Bun B solo, but voted top 50 based on UGK material.

It seems inconsistent to group a solo artist with their collective work sometimes but not all the time. Which is what happens frequently. I blame the confusion on Kev. lol

The way the polls have been set-up through the whole thing have been inconsistent though. People voted differently after they knew who they were voting for entirely. It's been semi-flawed from the beginning, so I guess it doesn't really matter. IMO, you cannot take UGK away from Bun B when deliberating what Bun B means to the game.

UGK is already in, I wouldn't even say Bun B should be nominated solo, but since he is, he's an easy neither.

Everyone is voting differently based on different criteria. This one should probably be re-voted with actual guidelines, or just tossed out completely.

This is voting for Bun as a solo artists not UGK.

I'm gonna say neither on him just like I did on Sadat X. UGK is already in so I don't see the need to put him in as a solo artist.

WTF KJ! Bun B has 2 solo albums which are basically UGK albums, Sadat X has SIX official albums and was THE voice of Brand Nubian, and he gets neithered like this clown?

I like Sadat, it's just that I don't like the idea of voting for him again after Brand Nubian got in.

If the artists solo career is completely independant from his group work, he deserves a nomination. Sadat has done that. Bun has not IMO. Although, i'd personally take Bun over Sadat.

I would have not voted at all instead of voting top 50 because I have never even heard a Bun B solo album. But he's still top 50 just based on UGK IMO.
