KRS-One The BDP Album

I just listened to it in full and I like it. It starts off on a strong vibe and gets a little suspect toward the middle end but it picks back up at the end. I think this is one of his better produced albums. And lyrically he sounds pretty damn good.

Yeah compared to his albums post his glory days. This album has above average production which for me includes hooks, beats, and skits by the way. Most of his other newer albums to me has had D to C type production. So yeah...lol.

I listened to it on Spotify. Good moments but other than an occasional listen on Spotify, I will probably leave this one alone.

I like the album. DJ Kenny Parker comes in strong with his trademark boom bap style (can't go wrong with the TR 808).

Kris's lyrics and style are getting more fierce lately. This album is remenicent(sp?) of Sex and Violence. I think KRS was going for his retro-BDP style here, and for good reason!

I could not find a dull moment (and I'm trying to be non-bias).

Times Up is a beast!!!

This album is dope! It's not BDP era dope but dope nonetheless. 4 stars. If you're a KRS fan you won't be disappointed.

I like the Biggie sample in the first song. Dope Dope Dope.

This is a very solid album. I'm not always crazy about KRS's flow, but I can deal with it here.

3.75 very easily, I would expect more loyal fans to rate it higher.

Where can I buy this CD? And not for $19 like on amazon...

3.5 after 2 Spotify spins. It's cool but not enough for me to make a purchase.

It's really a good album. Kris sounds hungry again.

Tote Gunz is fire! KRS definately sounds angry. I like the subliminal Eminem diss in the first verse.

Great LP.

as far as buying a digital file well even I've learned that as we move forward in the digital age this maybe the only way to do business at least on certain hip-hop projects and there is no way I'm missing this effort by Kris just because it may or may not be available on a cd.....as long as I'm making a purchase then I'm still respecting my hip-hop community....thats how I see it anyway!

I know I'm late on this one, however, I'll be checking this one out soon.
