Woops yes you are correct, I have changed it to Nogatco Rd ... I had Project Polaroid in the groups but I have moved it to solo's cos it's just him and TomC3 I believe? Never heard that album but I wanna get it though after hearing Saga Of The Simian Samurai that TomC3 did with Prince Po.

lol ! by the looks of responses you are not alone PKT. that is a serious list indeed though... haha I think I would have both those albums close to where you have rated them...
I plan to get a few ratings up soon, need to pull out a few old cds though cos it's been a while on a bit of Keith's material. I haven't heard a lot of his either though. He has certainly built up a catalog for himself over the years. Think I got maybe 6 or so albums there so I got a few to listen back over before rating.

Missing Cenobytes, which is fucking amazing.
But yeah, I would have Nogatco Rd. wayyy higher but other than that I agree with your rankings.

I know of this Cenobytes but have never heard it. I left it out as I didn't know if he's actually featured on a couple tracks or if it's another of his official group projects?
Care to clarify ?

LoL...
those are not rankings mayne, those are just a list of Kool Keith's albums in chronological order (besides maybe a couple bootlegs and the ultramagnetics which I have intentionally left off).... I was looking for people to give a score on whichever albums they have heard...

off the top of my head I would say
Dr Octagon 4.75 Sex Style 4.0-4.25 First Come First Served 3.75
These others have been too long for me so I do my best from memory
Black Elvis 3.75 Lost Masters 2.5 - 3.0 Masters Of Illusion 3.75-4.0 Analog Brothers Pimp To Eat 3.75-4.0 Thee Undatakaz - Honestly cant remember now but I dont think it was good...at all...
Havent heard most of his others... thats why I would like to receive some guidance/ratings/opinions from others

List gets bigger, I have listened lots of these 2 lately:
First come, first served. 4.5/5 maybe even 5/5. Black Elvis/Lost in space 4/5
I really like his rhyming, his weakness are the hooks cause they all sound the same.

Come to think of it Keith never really dropped a Wack album. Okay, Dr.Octagon 2 was trash, but Return of Dr. Octagon isnt at bad as people make it out to be. Also he does have some wack collabo albums . Like 7th Viel with Jackie Jasper, some album called GAME he did with 2 other generic rappers and lets try to forget Da Undatakas--his little rap group he brought out. I actaully bought that album for a dollar and regret it.
He did have a collab album called Claybourne Family with Jackie Jasper and Marc Live which is pretty decent. I just actually ordered it cause I was impressed with the samples

KK has always made those unique songs that only he can produce. Its best to shift through his wack albums and find those little gems like a song called SPACE off the GAME album. You dont wanna miss out on a good Kool Keith song.

My ratings for Kool Keith are the same as Laced With Slang. Just knock Masters Of Illusion and Spankmaster down a little and Pimp To Eat up a bit

Ultramagnetic MCs "The Four Horsemen" is a must hear. Don't see that one mentioned much when KK is brought up

I forgot "Mathew" which is above Spankmaster and "Nogatco Rd" which is somewhere around "Diesel Truckers".
I got Thee Undatakaz as well, it sucked
Anybody heard UMC's second album "Funk Your Head Up"? I've wanted it for years but I chaven't found a decent copy at the right price

The Undatakas album was horrible!!! I wasn't expecting much I admit. I was thinking it would be on some Dr.Dooom shit, some campy shit. What I heard was gay techno music

I just read what SRP wrote on Amazon about Keith not really being a best songs type, that is true. He is very unique. Albums of his are all separately themed concoctions bubbling out from his crazy genius mind, moving to something new every time he drops an album... Keeping the fake biters at bay and unable to keep up with him. He needs to be listened to as one complete piece on each album. Dr Octagon is coming 17 years old now, and that shit is still ahead of its time.

Anybody that is a big fan off the Sex Style album or thinks Keith has fallen off in his later years should check out "Sex Style: The Unreleased Archives". Not as dope as the original but taken from the same sessions and fully produced by KutMasta Kurt. Not a garbage leftovers album.
