I'm not too familiar with Kool Keith's career, but what I've heard is intriguing. Ever heard the word intriguing used to describe Phonte? Didn't think so.

Keith is very dope....just an emcee way ahead of his time, also his work on Critical Beatdown and Doc Oc (both of which are 5 stars) is quite impressive

however Phonte lyrically IMO is better then Keith (their flows are tied IMO) and also his work on Chitlin Circuit, The Listening and The Minstrel Show and also on Connected can all combined measure up to Keith's 2 gems IMO!
