Kanye West
Mannie Fresh - Juvenile - 400 Degreez (though it's not saying much, since I've only heard this and the first Hot Boyz album)

Daz Dillinger - 2PAC - All Eyez On Me

Madlib - Madvillainy
The Beatnuts - Stone Crazy

Pimp C
Ugh, it seems like that took forever.

| Preemo-Livin' Proof (EASILY), especially when you think of how horrible the lyrics were but most hip-hop heads have that one listed as an all-time classic or close to classic effort....it was strictly Preemo that did that baby bubba!
Pete Rock-Mecca And The Soul Brother
Marley Marl-Bizmarkie-Goin' Off and Big Daddy Kane-Long Live The Kane (tied)
9th Wonder-Buckshot and 9th-The Formula and Little Brother-Chitlin Circuit 1.5 (tied)
Bomb Squad-Public Enemy-It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back (changed the sampling game forever)
Rick Rubin-LL Cool J-Radio (drum programs, scratching, boom bap, Gritty NYC hip-hop)
Apollo Brown-Apollo Brown/O.C.-Trophies
Erick Sermon-EPMD-Strictly Business and Redman-Whut! Thee Album (tied)
Havoc-Mobb Deep-The Infamous and Mobb Deep-Hell On Earth (tied)
RZA-Raekwon-Only Built For Cuban Linx
Prince Paul-De La Soul-3 Feet High And Rising
Dilla-Donuts
Swizz Beatz-DMX-It's Dark And Hell Is Hot
Dr.Dre-Dr.Dre-The Chronic 2001 (this one contained his best package of beats to me, even better then the original Chronic IMO, although lyrically The Chronic along with it's production was the better overall album)
Timbaland-Missy Elliott-Supa Dupa Fly
The Neptunes-Kelis-Wanderland (I know it's not hip-hop but go and check out the beats/production that they gave her on that album, it's completely bananas man)
Kanye West-Kanye West-Late Registration and Common-Finding Forever (tied)
Da Beatminerz-Black Moon-Enta Da Stage
Organized Noise-Outkast-ATLiens
Diamond D-Stunts,Blunts And Hip-Hop

| Loving these picks so far. Nice to see different albums listed. True sign of a legendary producer when they have numerous fan favorites...
DJ Premier - Moment Of Truth...sometimes Livin' Proof...sometimes Hard To Earn
Pete Rock - The Main Ingredient
Dr. Dre - shiit....Doggystyle
RZA - Cuban Linx but fuck...anything from 93 - 97
9th Wonder - The Final Adventure with Murs....suprised me
Apollo Brown - Dice Game with Guilty
Large Pro - Illmatic...It aint hard to tell put it above Breaking Atoms
Marley Marl - Mama Said Knock You Out
Bomb Squad - It Takes A Nation but I really love Shut 'Em Down and Can't Truss It from Apocalypse '91
Organized Noize - ATLiens
Kanye West - College Dropout i suppose...been a long time since I heard it
Mannie Fresh - 400 Degreez easy for me
Erick Sermon - always loved the beats on Erick's Double Or Nothing LP....would get a different answer everyday though
Stoupe - Violent By Design every time
Buckwild - Word Life
Timbaland - Vol.3 from Jay-Z
Warren G - hmm Regulate just over the Twinz album and Take A Look Over Your Shoulder...underrated that one
Daz Dillinger - Dogg Food
Rick Rubin - Radio
Neptunes - Lord Willin from Clipse
Ski Beatz - Camp Lo's first one...i can't think of the name at the moment
Jam Master Jay - it's been too long, i can't remember
DJ Muggs - Temples Of Boom...amazing
Prince Paul - Gravediggaz 6 Feet Deep...i'm pretty sure he did that, if not Buhloone Mind State
Havoc - Hell On Earth...only a few albums could beat out The Infamous
DJ Quik - Rhythm-Al-Ism...took already amazing production to another level with this one
J Dilla - Donuts.....is their a better hip hop instrumental album?
Hi-Tek - the first Reflection Eternal
Da Beatminerz - Dah Shinin'
Swizz Beatz - It's Dark And Hell Is Hot...i like that early ruff ryders stuff he did
Ant Banks - The Big Bad Ass
Diamond D - Stunts, Blunts & Hip Hop
Just Blaze - The Blueprint pretty easy for me
Alchemist - H.N.I.C.

The Beatnuts - Street Level/Self-Titled...probably a top 10 - 20 album for me

| Dr. Dre-The Chronic
RZA - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Kanye West-The College Dropout
Buckwild-Nineteen Ninety Now (Haven't heard word life going to have to give that a listen)
Jam Master Jay-King of Rock
Mobb Deep-The Infamous
Madlib- Madvillainy
Large Pro - Illmatic
Kno- Piece of Strange (Will Rap for Food is my favorite album by them as a group but a Piece of Strange has his better production work by like 1.5%)
I'd like to add Mf Doom to this while he does team up with quite a few producers he has some of my favorite instrumentals, so for mf Doom it is
MF doom- Take Me to Your Leader

| Mrmikeoxlong....def hear Word Life and Jewelz from OC. Two classics
I need to hear more Run DMC. I've only got the debut, Raising Hell and Down With The King
Take Me To Your leader is a good pick for Doom. I think MM Food just takes it for me

| MM Food takes a close second for me just because I love the Godzilla samples throughout the Take me to your leader it just works perfectly to me.
I've only heard 3 Run-Dmc albums and out of them King of rock was my favorite production wise.
