Cypress Hill Relaunches 'Smoke Out'; Geto Boys Reunite

Hip-Hop group Cypress Hill has announced a partnership with Guerilla Union to re-launch the annual Cypress Hill Smokeout. The two-day festival and “cannabis expo,” which launched in 1998, will return after a six-year hiatus this October, at the San Manuel Amphitheatre and festival grounds in San Bernardino, California. Headliners on the Cypress Hill Smokeout include Slipknot, Sublime!, Deftones, Redman and Method Man, Cheech and Chong, all original members of the Goodie Mob and a reunion-set featuring the original Geto Boys, consisting of Willie D., Scarface and Bushwick Bill. “It's a stoner's dream come true,” B-Real says when speaking about the festival. “Our fans deserve an event that celebrates our love of music and marijuana culture. It’s gonna take two days to take it all in. I can't wait to play some new music and hang with all our friends and fans." Cypress Hill’s Smoke Out takes place October 23-24.

You guys are so slow on the news tip lol. That Rome dude is dope but no Bradley. I don't even think they should record a new album with this dude (as Brad was clearly the main musical influence in the group) but I can't be mad at them touring.

Haha yeah man......Slipknot are horrible and Deftones have fallen off. I don't want to hear a Sublime cover band either. So I'm basically going there to listen to Cypress and Redman and Goodie Mob and GB

same here plus seeing Cheech & Chong would be cool too. especially if they do some of their songs.

Slipknot is dope you douches. And how is it a Sublime cover band when it's all the original members except the lead singer?

I just never got into slipknot. sublime might be cool depends on how a new singer would sound doing brad's songs.

He's good, sounds just like Bradley. Not sure if that's what I'd want to hear though.

The first LB Dub album was quite nice. Not sure who did most of the vocals, but he was very similar to Bradley.

And, like their music or not, a Slipknot live show is fucking crazy.

I agree Deftones went way too , pretty much everything else sounds good, though.

Fucking Cali. That seals it, I'm off to San Diego next move I make. Everything goes on that way, never heard a bad word.

soo tru. There are always shows around here but sometimes you gotta travel a bit (couple hours tops)
