A brand new copy for 99 cents....I couldn't help it. lol

There's certain things you just don't do unless you are desperate. There are probably 100s of better albums for .99 cents on amazon.

I was kinda hoping the album resembles the Knux "Remind Me in 3 Days", which I really dug. I honestly wasn't expecting a terrible album...decent maybe, but not terrible...lol

Hey Tran...what do you make of that Slum Village album? I bought it brand new for $1...but it's just sitting there in the shrink wrap...

It depends how you feel on Elzhi. I'm personally a big fan of his, so his addition to Slum Village is a big bonus over the solid productions on the album. Slum Village is and will always be known more for their productions than their mic skills, but Elzhi at least gives them a worthy emcee. Baatin, T3, and Dilla are nothing special (or even close to it) behind the mics at all to me.

So overall, if you are a beat head, you'll at least dig the productions.

Cypress Hill - Rise Up- 3 nothing special, i like B-Real's solo a bit more, still happy with the purchase

Screwball - Loyalty -3.5 solid release just lacking any real standouts like y2k, only listened to it once though

San Quinn - The Hustle Continues - 2.5 off one listen, pretty boring but i have been listening to a lot of similar music so i might appreciate it more at a different time
