Why aren't you peeping Kid Cudi?

Just wondering, considering he is a much hyped new comer. What turns you off of him? The subject matter? not enough rapping? Tran's endorsement? Or did you not even bother to peep any of his stuff?

The only song I've really liked from him thus far is Day N Nite. I've heard good things about his album though so I'll download it.

1) Lame name...but now that I actually know it's pronounced Cuddi and not Cutie...after reading on wiki...it's not gay to me anymore.

2) You yourself describes it as techno/alternative//rap. Sounds kinda gay

3) This trend of mixing indie/alt rock with hip-hop has taken it's toll on me this year.

4) The Kanye West involvement doesn't really entice me to check it.

i dont normally check for newcomers unless people who's taste i trust are really pushing them.

I heard that Day N Nite song, and it was trash. It was very simplistic, and I quickly lost patience with it. In short, dude is boring as hell.

While the beat on Day N Night is somewhat catchy, the lyrics/vibe don't impress me. I'll pass on this dude.

Cudi makes boring music, doesn't rap very well, and has way too much hype. Also, I accidentally saw the Cudi/Drake sex tape and it scarred me for life.

I've only listened to about five of his songs on myspace and that was enough for me.... He sounds like B.O.B but with less talent and boring beats.
