Beat Battle?

I had an idea where all the producers would take one sample and make beats and let forum regulars judge, but I wanna make sure at least 4 other producers would be willing to do it and there are 5 people willing to judge.

RocBattle.com been doing this for a minute. I'll o it in the future, but now I don't have beats to waste.

Everybody does this. It's not beats to waste. It's new beats using the same sample, then people vote on who's beat is best. Fool.

Also, I propse the winning beat should be entered into a song battle with the forum's rappers making songs over the same beat using the same concept. Where's Skinny at?

I have to say there are probably a good 3-4 beats at least that could be made from the snippets in that sample. I probably will just choose the first one and second one to mess with...

I wanted to provide enough material to give a little diversity.

Nah, I think next time one sample is enough - because if you have people working with different samples it's not as even for comparison.


People can warp, speed up, etc. the sample so diversity should be there. The winner would find the most creative way to flip the same sample.
