| well tecnically they are a group, but with only one MC, it seems like more of a solo project | |

Well not so much about PE because even though Chuck is the undisputed leader, Flav rhymes occasionally and does a decent job (911 Is A Joke, I Can't Do Nothin For Ya Man).
You can consider Gangstarr a group because the DJ is a bigger star than the MC. They are among my Top 10 for sure.
As for the Roots, you know I love Black Thought (), but they're a group because of the band members, and Dice Raw and Malik B occasionally drop verses too even though they're no longer official members. yeah, that's true, but they are more or less a one man show that's why i feel that way. I have no argument either way though

| Technically a lot of rock bands consist of one vocalist so I see it, but traditionally in rap groups have become accustomed to consisting of more than one emcee so that is where it is tricky I guess... |

Besides KRS, the only others I would think of are the late great Scott La Rock, and Kris' brother Kenny. D-Nice, Ms Melodie, and Harmony are irrelevant because they had no longevity. Channel Live was a one hit wonder, and Mad Lion was a two hit wonder. |

- Objectively there is no way they top:
Outkast UGK Geto Boys 8Ball & MJG Three Six Mafia NWA Gangstarr Public Enemy De La Soul Run DMC A Tribe Called Quest Cypress Hill Boogie Down Productions Goodie Mob Wu-Tang Clan Mobb Deep Naughty By Nature Little Brother 2 Live Crew Bone Heiro Fugees The Roots
So please tell me which of these groups you put BEHIND Brand Nubian to put Brand Nubian in the top 10... I've got Brand Nubian AHEAD of: Fugees Heiro Bone Little Brother 3-6 Mafia Eightball and MJG UGK The Geto Boys so I'm not sure where that post was going but I've got Brand Nubian ahead of those cats previously mentioned quite easily...IMO they're a better group than all of those just mentioned Brand Nubian is a classic group that belongs up there with the best to ever do it IMO

| That still wouldn't put them in the top ten of all time as far as groups... |

| Um, i thought it was obvious. He said Brand Nubian were top 10 so SRP listed a bunch of groups that he thought were better. Even taking off those groups, there are still more than 10 groups on the list. By the way, I'm still waiting to hear what MC's were not in the top 5 because Puba was top 5 at one time. We have Kool G Rap, BDK, Rakim, KRS, Ice Cube, LL, Chuck D who were all doing it back then. So which 3 are coming off to make room for the big bad Puba. | |

I don't know how Powell feels, but Puba was never a Top 5 MC IMO. Top 10 maybe, but never Top 5. As I said before, on a given day Brand Nubian can qualify to be a Top 10 group. Their overall talent both individually and as a group can rival most groups, and their discography is superb. |

Well, he said Puba was top 5 dead or alive at one time. I said top 10 was more believable. I just want to know what MC's would not be on the list to make room for Puba. IMO, Puba ain't messing any of them dudes

| LOL!!!!!!! Top 15 as a GROUP and you think they are top 50. So we're not even counting Duos here, just GROUPS, you think they are better than the top 35 rappers/duos. Dude, you're dumb. |
