Rock the Bells 2010 lineup announced

The ROCK THE BELLS trek will stop at four major North American markets this summer, kicking off on August 21 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. The tour will continue on to Shoreline Amphitheater in San Francisco on August 22, Governer’s Island in New York on August 28, and will wrap up at Merriweather Pavilion in Washington D.C. on August 29.

Artists confirmed for the ROCK THE BELLS 2010 FESTIVAL SERIES include:

For the first time in the history of hip-hop entertainment, ROCK THE BELLS is slated to have headliners perform their most influential albums in their entirety.

-Wu-Tang Clan will perform Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers from beginning to end.
-Rakim is set to perform 1987’s, Paid In Full, his first full-length album with Eric B. Fellow Golden age, east coast rapper
-Slick Rick will conquer The Great Adventures of Slick Rick.
-KRS-One will perform Criminal Minded.

Damn, i wish i could go for these performances. All top 20 albums to me, and Paid In Full ain't no slouch either.

I saw this on hip hop dx and damn I'd love to go. Shame it doesn't come farther south than DC.. dammit Norf.

Decent line-up. I would replace Big Sean and Yelawolf with Ice Cube and Tech N9ne though.

Yelawolf blows. I don't understand the hype with that guy. But I would love to go if it came anywhere in the south...

I agree completely. I heard his Trunk Muzik which wasn't really too good besides the song with Bun B. Yelawolf isn't anything special, IMO. I don't understand the hype either. I see him as another Asher Roth (maybe), I'm gonna check out a couple more albums that were recommended to me that I was told was much better than Trunk Muzik. Still can't say I'm anxious to hear them though.

The lineup looks alright, but whats up with only 4 shows? Nowhere even near the midwest. I was looking forward to going again.

No slouch?? Paid In Full is the best album up there IMO, but all of them are among the GOAT's.

my brother flew out from Cali for a week last year
and we ended up mobbing to the DC RTB with some friends of mine...shit was dope had a good
time..paid dues stage was waaay iller than the main stage with rza,necro,raekwon,mystikjourneymen,m.o.p,evidence,E&A,etc..main stage had tecca nina,common,busta,the roots,nas headlined but D.Marley was a no show..AZ rocked that shit with Nas on phone tap and lifes a bitch..
