LOL...I don't know about that, but they definitely could have done something much better with it IMO.

Picked up a couple more CDs from one of my new favorite duos:
People Under The Stairs - The Next Step People Under The Stairs - Question in the Form of..
I got 4 of their albums now. Quality throughout. Anyone own "The Stepfather"? Thoughts?

Nice. I will pick it up after I spin these more. I like their newer work even more. Out of all the albums I've heard, "Fun DMC" is still my favorite. But their others are sounding better to me with every spin.

Sounds like a plan. FUN DMC along with O.S.T. are my favorites with O.S.T. being their magnum opus. I really like them as a group.

I am really starting to dig PUTS also. I haven't heard "Stepfather" yet but I just ordered "Or Stay Tuned". Also...
Vermillion - Moka Only Welcome To Jamrock - Damien Marley
Hey Al, I think it was you who rec'd the Afro DZ ak album "Elevation". It just crossed my mind recently. How were you feelin' that one? Replay value?

Or Stay Tuned is nice. Only 11 songs but definitely a memorable EP. I'd give it a 4.5.
I liked Welcome To Jamrock. Good buy.

Yeah, the Fun DMC had some superb production - really elevated their sound IMO. I had OST first. Good album, but honestly, if it weren't for Fun DMC, I may not be picking up anymore PUTS albums...I dug it that much more....now I'm starting to dig their sound more.

Actually, SRP put me onto this one. It's a decent album. I like the production most about it. And I do like the live instrumentation to it. However, and I think SRP would agree, dude is not a very good rapper. He's a good songwriter and has some feel good positive lyrics, but he is not that interesting to listen as far as sounding "dope" goes. If you're interested, I'd recommend a download first.

I kinda step outside of my box with the "Welcome to Jamrock" joint. I'm real interested to see how much I feel that one.

Thanks man. I thought about buying it today but now I will probably hold off until I spin a couple of times first.
