That would be true of haters but isn't always true of stans. While stans will at times overrate albums of the artists they stan for, it is possible for a stan to dislike an album of said artist. For example, I'm not a fan of Nastradamus, Born Again, or The Love Movement.

As much as I despise Kanye West, this EP seems like its going to be pretty damn ill.

I don't get excited when I see Pete's name anymore. Dude has been letting me down over his last handful of appearances. Q-Tip has always been an inconsistent producer when he's good, he's great. When he's bad, he's awful. Madlib spreads himself too thin, but I would check this if he had a beat or two on it.

In all honesty, though, I think it's just a hype tool...

I don't know how dope the production will actually end up, but it looks good on paper. Also, Kanye West, for whatever reason, is a trendsetter in rap, so if he's putting real hip-hop beats back into the mainstream... then that's got to be a good thing.

I'm still excited to hear them over a Madlib beat though.

Nah they are turning it into a full album. That's why it got pushed back and you haven't heard anything about it recently.

Hiphopdx said they are gonna release a single on Tuesday January 11th and an album should be here by March. Kanye claims that he has stopped promotion on his latest album to focus on this effort. We'll see. I need a Blame Game or Gorgeous video DAMMIT....lol
