Top 100 for me. I own 4 of their albums and they are all very solid. Don't know if there is any consensus classic albums there, but I haven't heard a bad Beatbuts album.

neither

all of their material is solid but I don't even have them in my top 15 hip-hop producers of all-time, so there no way they are making the top 100 hip-hop acts of all-time

they would have to get in on their production which I think is solid but not particularly memorable, because lyrically they are below average to me..again they fall short in to many voting categories for me

neither IMO

I haven't heard any of their albums. Just select tracks. But they're straight from what I heard. So I can't vote on this one.

You know whats funny though to me Beatnuts embodie that hard NY sound that's missing. IMO they make lower level beats eqaul to Premier, I luv their sound. And JuJu and Psycho Les kick some lyrics to me.

You just summed up my exact thoughts on Kanye. Beatnuts have way more business in the top 100 IMO.

The Beatnuts are probably the best example of the fact that you don't need to be a great lyricist to be successful in the rap game. The production is definitely their strong point.

I own many Beatnuts albums, and enjoy them all especially Musical Massacre (4.75 stars).

I co-sign Alan Pounds, I have yet to hear a bad Beatnuts album so I'm gonna put them in my Top 100.

In my opinion, the most important element of greatness is CONSISTENCY. That to me is even more important than lyricism. If given the choice to choose between an average group lyrically that puts out hot albums, or a group that spits above average to great lyrics and but produces sub-par albums, I'm taking the former EVERY TIME, which is why The Beatnuts are in my Top 100.
