| There are only 4 slots left in the top 100 and 15 slots in the top 50. What has happened is we have incorrectly voted a lot of peopl e in the top 100 and Neither that should have been top 50. This should prove a point to some that even with public voting from a non pop forum certain people being excluded or mis voted have now thrown off the polls. We all know there are not 15 more rappers not nominated yet that are truly top 50.
After we fill this Top 100 spot we are stuck at a standstill but I think we should revote for certain "Neithers" and "Top 100" that should have been in in the top 50 or top 100.

| We could just go by the list I've been making with the point system, since it's more precise anyway. So, we don't really need to revote. | |

Those are only artists with a positive final value. 93 right now. Those not included had a negative final value, and so clearly people don't want them included in the top 100.

And as KJ was saying yesterday....Whodini.

I think we've already exhausted the consensus top 50 artists. Unless you have some suggestions.

| The Coup, maybe, I don't know with the way the votes have been going. We definitely don't have 15 top 50 artists waiting to be voted on. The way the voting was done was sort of flawed in that regard, but that's what the point system corrects for, since it's not just going on which category had the highest point total. All we have to do is keep going with the polls, until it is clear that we have exhausted any top 100 candidate, which would probably still be quicker than going back and revoting on top 100 artists. | |

| Well, either way, The Coup should be nominated for such an excellent and critically acclaimed body of work. I agree. We've exhausted "consensus" top 50 artists. | |

| Ahh..Jason how many slots are availble with your system then? I need to know how many more I need to nominate. And can you seperate who's top 50 and top 100 with that point system? |

I would assume to keep nominating until you run out of artists. then the top 100 scores would get in. I don't think it would hurt for some people to get bumped if necesarry.

Yeah, keep nominating until it's clear we've run out of artists who are possibly top 100. As far as separating who's top 50, and who's top 100, it does more than that, it ranks them all. I put the list in order by final value, so the Roots are our #1 artist. #50 right now is Mos Def. So, him and everyone above are top 50.

| PUTS should also be nominated. 8 albums over 4 stars if you include Om Years and American Men Volume 1. | |

Agreed Cise, I think they could make the top 100. I was shooting for top 50. How many groups can boast that many good albums besides the Roots, Wu (as a whole), and Public Enemy? Not to mention Thes One has two 5 star instrumental albums of his own. So that makes 10 amazing albums.

I can't say I feel one is a classic...closest to it is Fun DMC IMO, but they are easily top 100 to me nowadays.

O.S.T. is their only classic but they have several that are just a tier (or two) below classic level. They might not be as groundbreaking as either of those groups but in terms of the amount of solid albums they have produced they are in the conversation. By the way have you heard all their albums?

I agree. Everything they release is quality. OST is about 4 stars to me...maybe 4.5. Fun DMC is nearly 5 stars with me. I feel Thes One upped his production game on there, which is why I feel it's better. Their rhyming is always solid. I own: The Next Step Question In The Form Of An Answer OST Fun DMC I plan to buy Stepfather after I get paid this weekend. None fall below 4 stars IMO.

I plan to buy Stepfather after I get paid this weekend. None fall below 4 stars IMO. I like Fun DMC a lot as well. Stepfather is ridiculously good as well. A few dud tracks but mostly top shelf stuff. You might not like American Men volume 1 but you should give the Om Years a listen if you get a chance.

Yeah Stepfather is the last you don't have. Om Years is a greatest hits/unreleased compilation. Or Stay Tuned was quite good. Too bad it was such a short album.

Or Stay Tuned was quite good. Too bad it was such a short album. Fug it. I just bought "Stepfather". I was waiting to make sure I got a pay check this week. But if I don't get it (been worrying about it), it will be a nice last gift I buy for myself for a while. lol
