Subject: Hammer disses Jay-Z Tue 07 Dec 2010, 6:33 pm
I'm sure you guys have seen this already but I just came accross it so I figured I'd post it. This is in response to Jay-Z's line "lost 30 mil so i spent another 30, cuz unlike Hammer, 30 mil cant hurt me." This mutha BAPTIZES Jay at the end!!! LMFAO!!!
Dissin Jay gets him the most attention, tho. Even if its only for a second...and even if we are laughing AT HIM and not WITH HIM, lol.
Agreed, I think that's the reason he did it. He knows that the majority of Hip Hop Nation thinks he's one of the wackest MC's of all time, but negative publicity is better than no publicity at all.

If Hammer's dissin' Jay-Z, he would have to diss about a dozen other rappers who mentioned his money troubles in thier rhymes.
He shouldve went after Rick Ross for his song. But on the real he shouldn't of took Jay-Z's line to heart. This is hip hop. Now he's using a diss track to get back in the game?
I had a good laugh to myself one day, in the street I was in I pulled up at a STOP sign on the intersection and underneath STOP, someone used a marker and wrote HAMMER TIME

That is a form of breaking into the game.

Jigga might not be the MC he once was, but he is and always will be relevant.
His relevance is rapidly withering...
I beg to differ, People are still buying his albums and he's still selling out arenas whenever he's in concert. As long as those two things are happening, he's going to remain relevant.
