You Devin voters need to read this thread that's going on here, I laughed because I thought of this thread when I saw the homeboy post about Devin owing his style.

I wonder who was the 3rd vote for Mall, It wasn't me...I haven't voted on any of these.

I just want to say I don't hate Bay Rap...lol. I actually own about a couple dozen Bay Rap albums, it's just I never got into Mac Mall. Devin's albums are real chill.

Damn, now that I think about it, a couple dozen Bay Rap albums ain't shit. I need to peep more.

Tran, I'm a Devin fan as well, but Mall is an old school legend...I saw that Nicky got spanked by Reks, It's not like care, I just have a difficult time posting around here anymore now that the only person I could really BS with about the stuff I dig the most bailed because of forum politics.

I'm not trying to discred Devin at all. People like what they like. I know Devin's just as seasoned.

My problem with Devin is he's a certain type of mood rapper. You can't(or at least i can't) listen to his albums at any given time. I honestly can't think of a bad time to bump Illegal Business. As a matter of fact, it's time for a spin now.

Devin is way more creative than Mac Mall. Mac Mall is a dope rapper but that's it. Devin is the better artist. And his discog blow Mall's out the water. And word for word Devin may be the better lyricists.

And that Illegal Business is good but not all that. Its very typical bay area music.
