Nelly- Maybe, but it wouldn't be first ballot.

Brand Nubian- Likewise

Jungle Brothers- I'm gonna say yes, because they were the founders of one of the best and most important crews in hip-hop history, the Native Tongues. They wouldn't get in before De La or ATCQ, but they'd get in nonetheless for that reason.

Black Moon- Nope unless they induct the BCC as a collective.

Master P- He'd be one of the least talented guys in history to get in, but he'd get in.

Eightball & MJG- See Nelly/Brand Nubian

MC Eiht- Nope

MC Breed- Nope, not enough impact

Queen Latifah- Yes, first ballot easily

Regardless of that, people were feenin for a second album (and some STILL ARE) and The Score did bigger numbers than most people do their entire careers. Blunted On Reality wasn't a critical success but it did well commercially. They more than have the accolades and fanfare to get in the HOF.

How many people are on y'all's respective hypothetical ballots? Because unless it's like 20-25 per ballot, I promise you if you list them out a lot of the people you say go certain places would end up much farther down the line...

Not for nothing Wayne, but I don't see how you can say no for Nelly and yes for Black Moon. Nelly is far more well known, has sold more records, and has made way more impact. I don't like Nelly and I do like Black Moon, but I'd say Nelly's chances of getting in are far better. I don't like Master P either, but he started No Limit and they were highly successful. For that alone he's a shoe-in.

I don't hate the Native Tongue movement. I think it was one of the most important and creative forces ever in music. As a crew or a movement they deserve HOF induction automatically. But Jungle Bro's on grp merit alone would not make it. That is what I meant.
