Best Album 1993 Round 1: Young Black Brotha vs. 14 Shots To The Dome (A)

I haven't heard this LL album in a long time but I remember not liking it much save for a few trks. Young Black Brotha is highly overrated imo but it is better than this album.

The numero uno, could never be the dos, a mac named Dre he's poppin' the mos.

I spun 14 Shots a few months ago. I always thought it was fairly decent, but it does sound extremely dated. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but it's not something I'd listen to unless I was in the mood for 1993. Still, there's plenty of 1993 albums I'd sooner reach for.

I haven't heard the Mac Dre, though. So, no vote from me.

I'm not a fan of this particular LL album, and I'm not a fan of Mac Dre at all. I'll be fair and not vote. I don't see either of these going very far anyway.

the classic YBB wins, the album is damn near flawless

I don't think I've ever listened to MAC Dre. Usually the albums you guys give highest praise cross over for me nicely. I'll put this on my to do list.14 Shots isn't too amazing, so i'll sit this out.

its a old school sounding album but the music isnt dated and its so damn funky...a few of the tracks were recorded over the prison phone just fyi

if you havent heard Illegal Business? by Mac Mall get that immediately too
