Blu & Exile "Below The Heavens" Deltron 3030-not really underground but not really mainstream either. Blue Scholars "Long march ep' Company Flow 'Fancrusher Plus"
Have to think about the rest.

| SRP, i actually think all of them would classify as underground. That 3-6 was before they blew up. Kind of the same way i would almost consider Master P's first album underground. | |

| Dope list KJ. That Vakill would be a darkhorse for me as well.
I'm having trouble finding time to do mine. 3 kids running around screaming and wife gone to work. Can't wait til school starts. My days off are more stressful than being at work lol.

| nice list K Rob. That Reks will probably make mine too just beating out Wise Intelligent. Still sleeping on K Rino. I have "Blood Doctrine", "Triple Darkness Vol. 1", and "Stories from The Black Book" on my Amazon wish list but they all cost a little too much. Triple Darkness is down under $9.00 now so i may go ahead and get it.
Section 8 Mob? Were they kind of like Trinity Garden Cartel, i think i had that album back in the day.

Glad to see you showing Reks some luv and why don't you just download some of those Rino albums until later? Section 8 Mob are outta Washington D.C. and they had a southern/east coast gangsta/hardcore sound. Real dope album. It was 4 rappers in the grp and one was female. |

| This wasn't very easy. In no order: 1) Slaine - White Man Is THe Devil, Vol 2: Citizen Caine 2) Def 3 & Moka Only - Dog River 3) Immortal Technique - Revolutionary, Vol 2 4) El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead (The culmination and perfection of what began with Company Flow) 5) Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow 6) Vakill - Worst Fears Confirmed (just lately gaining favor over Darkest Cloud) 7) RA Rugged Man - Die, Rugged Man, Die! CunninLynguists - Southernunderground 9) Rodan - Theophany: The Book Of Elevation 10) Blu & Mainframe - Johnson & Jonson (I know I'm solo on this pick, but in my listening, it belongs top 10) A list of the albums that made this so difficult: JMT - Legacy Of Blood AOTP - Torture Papers Sunz Of Man - The Last Shall Be First Invincible - Shapeshifters Sonic Sum - Sanity Annex LCOB - Equividium Megalon - Penny For Your Thoughts Binary Star - Waterworld Apathy - Eastern Philosophy J Live - All Of THe Above Vakill - Darkest Cloud Aesop Rock - Labor Days Nine - Cloud 9 Oktober - Art Of Raw Q Unique - Vengeance Is Mine Somobe - Great Communication Demigodz - The Godz Must Be Crazy EP Ill Bill - What's Wrong With Bill? Shabazz The Disciple - Book Of Shabazz Shad - The Old Prince Smut Peddlers - Porn Again I would also like to note that, while K Rino is easily one of my top 10 emcees, I don't hear an album to class with these (personally). I just dl'd Stories From The Black Book, though, and it seriously sounds like a contender on the first couple spins. | |
