I really loathe Shady/Aftermath. As I had said with GRODT, they seem to try and take underground talent and dress it up for the public following their usual formula. Slaughterhouse is not even close to on my radar because it's basically the label saying, "Check it out mainstream America, we're still cool because we have this group of underground artists." But then they strip them of everything that everyone loved about them. I'm pretty sure Kendrick will be the next huge disappointment...smh.

Thanks folks. It looks like it was a good thing that I got off work late yesterday and didn't make it to Best Buy to get Slaughterhouse.

Kendrick has said that he's only using the producer's he came up with, and will have minimal to no features on the album (though there will be a lady gaga feature smh), but I don't think Dre fucks peoples shit up quite as bad as Em does.

The new K-Rino is dope, but the album doesn't really flow that well to me. There are some really good songs, not really any bad ones, but idk it's probably the least creative of the past 4 (including this one). This is after ony 2 spins, and I still like it better than Day of the Storm...

this album is way better IMO. Statik comes extremely nice, better than anything hes done in years (he's gotten boring to me), but his production on this is top notch--actually probably the best produced Statik album ever.

Yeah Halfy, I'm not a huge fan of either SAS or Statik but this album goes. Theres maybe one or two skippable songs if that. I feel you on Arms and Hammers tho...

After six full spins, I would say it's his second best album IMO, behind "Shadows On the Sun", which is a Tran's classic. I haven't had the urge to skip any tracks so far. The production on here is stellar (maybe because I'm a bias Jake One fan...lol). When it comes to lyrics, you know Brother Ali won't let you down. The only thing that's holding this album back from beating Shadows as my fav Brother Ali album is there's no clear standout track like Shadows. There are no Prince Charming or Forest Whitiker on here.

This is my second fav album this year behind Killer Mike/EL P.

I co-sign this. Bother Ali always delivers, but him and Ant had gotten a little stagnant. Jake one's beats bring new life to Ali's rhymes, and Ali is incredibly inspired on this album.

I haven't received the Tech yet. The Alien Tongue is cool for what it is, but it's nothing special. It's The Bootleg vol 3 is dope though. I only spun the Substantial once, and it was real chill. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was solid
