Lil Wayne - IANAHB 2 I was very pleasantly surprised by this album. While I am not a Wayne hater, I still always have low expectations for his albums. They always fall short of his mixtapes. This album is nothing new, but for some reason, Wayne sounds like he had a lot of fun making this album and it translates into a fun listen, IMO. There is no experimentation here (unless you count the rock song but he's already been there), just the same punch line rap and a doper selection of beats this time around. The intro is def a great jumpoff too. If you hate Wayne, you will still hate him. If you like him at all, this album should be near the top of his catalog to you.

| How was Abrasions? Is it similar to Black Belt Theater? Different? Let me know. Since I liked the Durag Dynasty, I wanted to check that out, if it's worth it. | |

Nice one Yeah, i kept putting it off because i already owned The Commision which already had Southside, Ballin In The Mix, and Still Pimpin Pens so i had hard time spending the money on Don't Mess Wit Texas, but i happened to find this in the dollar bin. I couldn't pass that up. What do you think of the Big Unit album with Slim Thug?

Lil Wayne - IANAHB II Tyler - WOLF Durag Dynasty - 360 Waves
GFK - 12 Reasons to Die Wow. This shit was amazing. Idk know if it just hit me at the right moment while I was lifted, but I just vibed the fuck out to this one. The production was better than any Ghost album I can think of back to Supreme Clientele. And I usually dig his beat selections. Twelve Reasons To Die (the outro) tied the package up nicely at the end.

| Spins:
GFK - 12 Reasons to Die Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa - Live in Concert Sean Born - Behind the Scale Las Supper - Back to the Future RA the Rugged Man - Legends Never Die
All these albums were dope. I've already spoken on GFK. Curren$y and WIz was pretty much as I expected...fun, laid back, weed raps. I just wish they had time to put together a full length album. Sean Born was really dope, but it took me a while to get into it. The first few tracks were boring to me at first but it picked up and ended up really dope. I actually liked the first few tracks the second time around. Las Supper turned me off with the first track but thankfully I stuck around because it was dope from track 2 on. Finally, RA was overall dope but there were some really weak points. The beats and choruses were severely lacking on a few tracks (Holla-Loo-Ya was the worst) and it really fucks up the feel of the overall album. RA is deadly with the flow throughout tho.
Great year so far IMO...
