Subject Matters

Here's an idea for a new thread I will be starting this Friday. I will post songs that I feel are creative, interesting, original, or pure entertainment that deals with a certain subject. All I ask from you guys to spark some convo is to rate the song or comment on how the rapper(s) delivered the subject/concept. This will only run on Friday-Sunday like the ole school thread did.

Also I am open to suggestions just send them to my inbox. And I will mention who gave me the idea for that song when I post it.

I will also post the same songs on FB in Wayne's Music City grp.

Not a bad idea, I'm down with it.

Subject matter is the main reason I am a hip hop head. I like all variations of the art but give me some dope creative fun subject matter and i'm good. I have already came up with a lot of songs. Can't wait to share and discuss them.

Lyrical content/substance is probably the main reason I'm a hip hop head too. People like K-Rino (thanks for recommending me him) making songs like "Who Killed Realness?" and "A Long Way To Go" is just a good exemplification of why I love music so much. It's one thing to entertain but orchestrating art that is just pure and unadulterated is something I'll always get sucked into...

True dat. And to add on for me it does not have to be "lyrical" in a deep sense or vocab sense for me to enjoy it. For example a song like AMG's "Lick'em Low Lover". Where he talks about being a kid and catching his father eating pussy and how it turned him to the lick'em low lover. I get a kick out of fun subjects like that also.
