I couldn't disagree more. Black Thought is easily one of the best MC's of all time with the Roots being my 2nd fav group. De La is one of the best and most consistent groups ever. Common's about in my Top 30, but I can objectively see him in a Top 20-25.

While I think they were all ranked a bit high, I'm not complaining because those are all MC's that I bump on the regular.

I don't agree with the positioning of most of the artists or even the a lot of the picks, but it's not a bad list.

The Roots & De La are legit choices for top 5 groups in Hip-Hop, so them being top 10 when throwing in solo artists also isn't absurd. I definitely wouldn't rank the Roots #1, but they're not too far out of reasonable placement.

I actually like this list, there are a few that I would bump out and replace and I would remove The Roots from the number one slot but they are a top 20 group easily and Black Thought is in my top 20 emcees of all-time

Overall this is a much better looking list than I thought it would originally be, good job hip-hop forum!

Linker or any Admin since so much time and work was put in on this list I would like it displayed somewhere on the homepage or maybe make it a sticky so it is always at the top...what y'all think?
