Watchin the Heat vs Celtics now, interesting game.

Who you got for the Finals? Taking it even further, what are your eastern/western conference matchups?

If you want to gamble with dudes on here this could be a spot to get it going.

Basically anything related to the new NBA season should wind up in this thread nahmsayin

Don't sleep on the Pacers.

Pacers suck. Was a tough game for my C's last night.

My finals is OKC/MIA, MIA in 7.

Granger is out indefinitely. Good luck with that.

Beasley's about to drop 35 a game and win MVP en route to a Suns title.

Yeah that does blow. I'm scared. Hold me.

Lakers aren't going to the Finals.

OKC are overrated as fuck... yeah who cares if they get to the Finals again, they'll just lose again.

Keep your eye on the Rockets - it will expose both Jeremy Lin and James Harden as so-so players.

76ers won't be as good as people think either because Bynum sucks.

Game over mane

Lin so-so or less. Harden is/will be legit.

Harden went for 37 points 12 assists and 6 boards tonight. I think the Rockets finally have a go to guy again.

Harden is guaranteed to be top 5 MVP candidate, if he doesn't win it this year.

Indeed it was just the Pistons. I don't expect games like this night in and night out, but I think he can flourish as the main guy on a team. I still think my rockets will land somewhere between 6 and 10 in the west though...

Harden isn't a so-so player, and this was before last night. OKC will regret getting rid of him. He's a franchise player.

I think everyone always wondered why OKC kept using Harden off the bench. He played starter minutes so I guess that's a moot point, but the kid definitely has a ton of talent and I think OKC is going to miss him. I guess that had their money in Durant and Westbrook, but I wonder who will have the best overall career - Westbrook or Harden?

I prefer Harden to Westbrook just because he's a smarter, more controlled player, but Westbrook is far more electric.

I think Harden is going to ball in Houston. But OKC will be fine with Kevin Martin. He can produce just as much on a regular basis as Harden did for them and he isn't as reckless. He just doesn't have the ceiling that Harden has. He types in the God mode code some nights.

Either way, no one improved enough to beat Miami. The Lakers will get past this 0-2 start but they still can't beat them.

As for my Bulls, they have the slightest chance ever to be champs even with Rose and without him for half a season I will be happy if they place 5th in the East. I don't care what you mofos say, tho, I think the Bulls will reach the East Finals and get waffle-stomped by the Heat. Thibs' system is the truth!

I wish we could have kept Lamb, but I am glad to be rid of Martin. The way he pouted (and played like a straight bitch) all year after the Gasol deal got nixed made me sick.

I'm still interested in seeing how Harden plays against the good teams out west...

Lakers might want to start getting serious soon, they might forget what winning games feels like.

I also don't think the Bulls will reach the Eastern Conference Finals, I think the Pacers or the Celtics have a better chance right now.

Which team do you think will have the worst record by the end of the season?

For the first part, that's not even close to true about producing just as much. Grantland posted a great shot comparison chart, not even considering defense, penetration skills, ball handling, etc.

The Bulls with Rose can beat any team in the East not named the Heat. If they can be decent until he gets back, they can make a serious playoff run. Unless they meet the Heat in an earlier round, I don't see how a team that has been one of the best defensive teams in the league the past few seasons can be counted out.
